I purchased a 6 month old puppy from Smith Farms, have had him now for about 2 months. He (Wolf) is a fantastic puppy: temperament is outstanding, stunning looking all black male, friendly with other dogs and people, smart. Not sure about how Wolf and my cat will manage together yet; he barks and chases, and the cat is scared out of her wits so I’ve been blocking Wolf’s access to the second floor and the cat is sticking to her area! Wolf is definitely the epitome of a German Shepherd house pet: not destructive, calm, listens, looks for direction and mostly takes it (he’s still a puppy in the testing phase!), and sticks to me like glue!! I had only seen his picture before choosing him together with a couple of discussions with Smith Farms about the kind of dog I was hoping to find for my life style. He’s the one!! I am completely crazy about him! He’s a five star but I had wanted to keep him intact but am unable to do so because he has unilateral cryptorchid (only has only one descended testicle), I am going to have to make sure it’s removed at some point before he is too old to help protect his health.

I got Blaze from Smith farms in 2020- he’s a great companion & so smart and couldn’t have asked for a better dog. Also, coming to meet the pups was a great experience and so was the pickup and everything in between! Highly recommend Smith farms!

We have 2 German shepherds now from jeff. They are such amazing dogs. Very great with train and amazing to train. Our first one with only 2 months of training knows more tricks and commands than a lot of other dogs that I know with no behavior issues anymore. The other one we just got yesterday and is already starting to follow in suit. Both potty trained quickly. We don’t know why the other one says one star because these dogs deserve 10 out of five stars
